From first question to first class
-
Enquire
Use the enquiry form, phone us, or come to reception. An admissions officer replies within one business day with the entry requirements for the course you named and what evidence we will need.
-
Apply
Send your application with certified copies of your qualifications, photo ID, and English evidence if you need it. Applying costs nothing and there is no application fee.
-
Assessment
We check your application against the published entry requirements. If something is missing we chase it — twice, by email and phone — rather than closing the file. Most assessments finish within five business days.
-
Offer
A written offer sets out the course, campus, start date, fee schedule and any conditions, plus the reasoning behind any condition. An unsuccessful application gets the same written reasoning.
-
Accept and enrol
Accept in writing and pay the first instalment. We confirm your place, send your timetable and book you into orientation.
-
Orientation and start
Orientation runs the week before each intake: campus tour, systems login, meet your teachers, and the one-page version of what to do when something goes wrong.
What we ask for
Requirements vary by course — each course page carries its own. These are the common ones.
Academic
Year 12 or equivalent for the diplomas. An ATAR of 65 or a completed diploma for the degree. Mature-age applicants are assessed on work history at interview instead.
English
IELTS 5.5 for the diplomas and 6.0 for the degree, or an accepted equivalent. Completing the right level of our own English program meets the requirement without an external test.
Identity and age
Photo identification, and a Unique Student Identifier for nationally recognised training. Minimum age 18 at the course start date.
International applicants
You can apply directly or through one of our appointed education agents. Applying direct is not slower and costs no more — agents are paid by us, never by you.
- What we need: certified qualifications with translations, passport, English evidence, and evidence of funds where your visa subclass requires it.
- Offer and CoE: an accepted offer plus your first payment triggers your Confirmation of Enrolment, which you use in your visa application.
- Overseas Student Health Cover: arranged through us or your own provider — your choice, and we will not add a margin either way.
- Before you arrive: airport pickup and first-week accommodation help, arranged before you fly rather than on landing.
What it costs, and when you pay
Tuition is charged per course and paid by instalment, one per study period. The full schedule is in your written offer before you accept, so you never agree to a number you have not seen.
There is no application fee, no enrolment fee and no separate materials fee. The only additional charges are for services you choose to use: a replacement student card, a re-issued testamur, or a late payment after the published grace period.
Domestic students may be eligible for a payment plan. International students pay the first study period in advance, as required for a Confirmation of Enrolment.
Refunds
Our refund policy is published in full and given to you with your offer. If we cancel a course or cannot deliver it, you are refunded in full — that is not discretionary.
When things happen
February intake
Diplomas and English. Applications close two weeks before the start date; orientation runs the week prior.
March intake
Bachelor of Information Technology, semester one.
July intake
Diplomas and English. The main mid-year entry point for both VET programs.
September intake
Bachelor of Information Technology, semester two. English starts most Mondays year round.
Census dates matter
Every study period has a census date published in your timetable. Withdraw before it and you are not charged for that period; withdraw after it and you are. We email a reminder a week out — it is the single most expensive date to miss.
Credit for what you already know
What can be recognised?
Completed units from another registered provider, whole qualifications, and documented work experience that demonstrably meets a unit's requirements. Credit into the degree from our own diploma is automatic and published, not case-by-case.
What does it cost?
Nothing to assess. If credit is granted, the tuition for those units is removed from your fee schedule rather than refunded later.
When should I ask?
Before you enrol. We assess RPL as part of your application so that your offer already reflects the shorter course and the lower fee.
Start with a question
You do not need to have decided anything to talk to us.
