For students

What an agent can and cannot do

You never have to use an agent. Applying to us directly is not slower, and it does not cost more.

An appointed agent can

  • Explain our courses, entry requirements and fees
  • Help you assemble and lodge a complete application
  • Pass our written offer to you, unchanged
  • Help you understand the visa process

An appointed agent cannot

  • Charge you a fee for placing you with us — we pay them, you do not
  • Guarantee you a visa, a place, or a job
  • Change any term of your offer, or promise something not written in it
  • Complete your application documents for you or alter your evidence

If an agent asks you for money to apply, tell us

Email integrity@acme-education.example. We investigate every report, and we have ended agency agreements over it. You will not be disadvantaged for reporting — your application is assessed on its merits either way.

How we manage the network

Appointed, monitored, and occasionally removed

Every agency is assessed before appointment, holds a written agreement, and is reviewed annually against what actually happened to the students they sent us.

  1. Assessment

Business standing, market knowledge, existing representations and references. We check what other providers say about them, not just what they say about themselves.

  2. Written agreement

Scope, commission, conduct obligations and termination rights, all in writing. No verbal side arrangements.

  3. Annual review

We look at conversion, completion, attendance and complaints for their students. An agency whose students consistently withdraw early is a problem regardless of volume.

  4. Action

Under review, suspended, or terminated. We publish the current status of every agency so a student can check before they engage one.

For agencies

Working with us

We are deliberately not trying to sign every agency that asks. A smaller network we can actually monitor produces better outcomes for students, which is the only thing that keeps a provider registered.

What we offer

Commission paid on a published schedule, direct access to an admissions officer rather than a shared inbox, and a decision on every application within five business days.

What we expect

Accurate representation of our courses and fees, complete applications, no fee charged to the student, and compliance with the National Code and the ESOS framework.

What we measure

Not applications. Enrolments that start, attend and complete. That is what your annual review is based on.
